Brian and Laura met in 2016 in Houston, TX and have been friends and networking partners ever since. They both are passionate about marketing and sales for small business.

Brian Gendron

President & CEO, NocserV IT Department in the Cloud

Brian is an award-winning business leader fueled by his obsession with making a lasting impact on the world. He is the founder & CEO of NocserV, a boutique IT consulting firm based in Texas. He has a passion for mentorship that he puts into his weekly podcast called Big Ideas Small Business, into his teaching as an instructor at the University of Houston SBDC, and into his entrepreneurial coaching.

Brian is a community leader with a focus in children-related causes. He serves on the board of directors for Playworks Texas and co-chair of their 2018 annual Get in the Game Gala. He is the president of the Casa de Esperanza Young Professionals Board. He is the marketing committee chair and technology committee chair for the Kiwanis Club of Houston.

Brian is committed to several other business organizations including Toastmaster (Competent Communicator, Level 2 Effective Coach) and currently serves as the Vice President of Public Relations for Toastmasters International Talking Bull Club 8607. He is an active member of the Houston West Chamber of Commerce and host of their monthly Rise & Grind Networking Breakfast. He participates in the Arise Breakfast and Toolbox ministries.

Laura Kamrath

President & CEO, Zebra Marketing Solutions

Laura Kamrath is President of Zebra Marketing Solutions. She helps small businesses, coaches, consultants and entrepreneurs to get more leads and convert more sales so that they can make more money! Laura is a marketing strategist, an expert in marketing automation and a certified partner in Infusionsoft. She is passionate about helping others achieve new levels of success through website design, social media strategy and implementation, email marketing, copywriting and content generation, online advertising, “sales funnels” and marketing automation.

She received a BA degree from Mount Holyoke College in western Massachusetts, the oldest women’s college in America, and an MBA with a focus in Marketing from Rice Business.

Laura’s background includes spearheading a large-scale Strategic Marketing Campaign for INEXS, resulting in 50% growth the following year, and managing the marketing needs for RPS, USA. Laura also served as VP Business Development, North America for London-based OPC.

Through effective marketing, she has raised more than $45,000 over 9 years of riding the MS 150 charity bike ride from Houston to Austin and more than $3500 in each of the 6 years she served on the Houston rodeo committee.

Laura was born in New Jersey, and also grew up in England and Houston. She spends her free time traveling, running, cycling and enjoying the outdoors.
